Hello CSA Members,

It’s Week 6 and we are beyond excited to be giving you some truly hearty summer foods to enjoy! This week your share will include:

 

Lettuce Mix
Kale
Chard
Cabbage
Sugar Snap Peas
Hakurei Turnips
Carrots
Cucumbers
Yukina Savoy (a green from the cabbage family that is excellent raw or cooked)
Summer Savory

 

…and other items!

The bed that held the garlic is a now clean slate for the winter squash plants to stretch and grow their long vines.

The prolific cucumber patch appearing deceptively calm. In fact, it is buzzing with many pollinating bees.

And the tomatoes, slowly plumping up in the summer heat, are definitely worth the wait.
